Methods & Data
How the sketch is built. Rung maturities are spaced evenly across your horizon and snapped to the closest available bill term (4/6/8/13/17/26/52-week); each rung is mapped to the next announced auction of that term from TreasuryDirect's schedule, with its actual CUSIP, auction and settlement dates. A bill term with no announced auction shows its outstanding bill, marked outstanding (secondary), bought in the secondary market: it is held only for the days it has left, and its yield and interest count those days, not the full term. Cash is split evenly in $100 increments (bills trade in $100 minimums), remainder to the shortest rung.
indicative yield = the newest CMT curve interpolated at the rung's days held
est. interest = allocation × rate × days held / 365
Method. The interest arithmetic is a simple act/365 approximation of the bill discount mechanics.
Data: announced auctions from TreasuryDirect (public domain); indicative curve from FRED CMT series (DGS1MO–DGS1) and Treasury's own 2/4-month par yields.

Disclaimers
This is an illustrative prototype. The yields shown are indicative, interpolated from today's constant-maturity curve — the rate on any bill is set at its auction and will differ. This sketch is not an order, an account, tax advice, or a recommendation to buy any security; bills sold before maturity fluctuate in value. Estimated interest is a simple approximation of the bill discount mechanics: allocation times rate times days over 365. Past yields are no guarantee of future results.
